Brief Introduction With optimum draft ratio and large number of doubling, sliver lap winder improves the straightening of fiber and evenness of lap hence reducing the combing load of comber. This highly automatic machine is operator-friendly and has become the most efficient machine in the preparation process for combing. Main Structural Features The machine adopts the large color touch screen ( imported) to realize man-machine communication. It makes operation and maintenance of machine easier, convenient and operator-friendly. The machine adopts the programmable controller to control the machine operation. The inverter is used on the main motor. The whole operating process is easy, convenient, stable and reliable. Operator-friendly design eases operation. There is inching, start, and stop buttons on the pneumatic box at the front head of the machine, and on top of the electric control panel at mid section of the machine. It adopts inverter motor drive to facilitate stable startup, high efficiency and energy saving. 3-over-3 drafting system with pneumatic weighting is adopted. According to the batt weight required, the back draft can be set.? The pneumatic weighting mechanism is simple, stable and reliable. Elevated feed creel is used, with sliver cans placed on both sides of the lap table. The direction of lap drafting is in accordance with that of the lap table, with sliver entering into drafting system free of twists and turns. There are 4 calendaring rollers in arch arrangement, applying higher pressure progressively to provide pressing and calendaring for the batt in an S-path configuration to give anti-licking effect for the lap. The winding of lap is achieved with spool being negatively driven while sitting wedged between the 2 different surfaces of the lap winding rollers ( one plain, one grooved) . With adjustment of the relative speeds and pressures by inverter technology, anti-licking is achieved.? The lap produced is compact, and is well formed from layer to layer, with excellent external profile. It adopts semi-automatic system for bobbin feeding, which is comprised of an empty spool feeding magazine and a spool changing mechanism. Empty spools are put into the magazine manually, to be followed by automatic lap doffing and spool change. The performance of the machine is stable, safe and reliable with many stop motions on all door covers. It can effectively prevent any dangers and malfunctionsl, especially the unique lapping stop motion in the drafting zone.
