Brief Introduction of JSFA286 Cotton Comber JSFA288 cotton comber is designed for the cotton combing process. The leading fiber fringe of the cotton lap is combed by the cylinder wire while being held effectively by the nippers, and a tuft is detached by precise intermittent movements of the detaching rollers. During combing, unwanted short fibers, naps, impurities, and fiber faults in the cotton lap are removed by cylinder wire and top comb, which also combs the rear end of the fiber tuft, taken off from the lap. In addition, the fibers are drafted further during this detaching motion, to improve the straightness and parallelization of the fibers. The combed cotton sliver produced by this machine can then be passed on to subsequent spinning process, with the final yarn produced having higher yarn strength, less hairiness and better luster. The comber is an indispensable process for the spinning of the high-count yarns, blended yarns, and special yarns. JSFA286 Cotton Comber main features: The machine adopts the PLC to control the machine operation.? And the large color touch screen is adopted to realize man-machine communication. It makes operation and maintenance of machine easier, convenient and operator-friendly. During running of the machine, the screen can be touched to obtain information on: production status, security control, stop motion position, help menu, failure records and hints to failure elimination ; hence facilitating production mangagement greatly, All technological parameters keyed in by the mill technician according to the production requirements are protected by security code and locking key at the data input interface. This is to prevent other people from improperly intruding the system, hence guaranteeing normal running of the machine within the set range. The inverter is used on the main motor for the adjustment of machine running speed, and can be done on the touch screen, using the man-machine interface, without gear changes. The whole operating process is easy, convenient, stable and reliable. There are inching, start, stop buttons on the pneumatic box at the front of the machine, and on top of the electric control panel at mid of the machine. The machine can be preset to clear the short fiber on the cylinder periodically, to ensure effective combing of the cylinder and the quality of combed sliver. The duration of this brushing period can be set on the man-machine interface before starting the machine. During cleaning, the main motor will shift from high speed to low speed for a while. As the speed of the brush motor does not change, this creates a relative motion between the two, enabling clearing of the fleece of short fiber from the cylinder. After a while, the main motor will recover to high speed again. In short, after the machine runs for a certain time, there will be a short interval for the cylinder to be brushed clean automatically. The machine performance is stable, safe and reliable. Various stop motions and safety switches on the door covers are designed for preventing accidents. Especially once the raidal cover is opened beyond 5mm, the machine will stop automaticlly. The headstock of the machine adopts oil bath lubrication, with all engineered parts manufactured to very high precision to assure high speed running of the machine. For instance, the differential gears and other gears in the headstock are all of 5 grade precision which ensures the stable driving of gear, low noise, and low temperature rise. The noise level of the comber is 79 dBa under full load running, as tested by National Textile Machinery Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, much lower than the industrial standard of 84 dBa running without load. The movement of the nipper is driven by the cylinder shaft. The crank slide swing arm mechanism converts the rotating motion of cylinder shaft into a to-and-fro rocking, and intermittent gripping motion of the nipper. Applying proper length of crank to decrease the turning angle of the nipper shaft, the angular velocity and acceleration are decreased. The rotating inertia is thus decreased accordingly, which improves the quality of cotton laps. The kinematics of the nipper is designed optimally. The top and bottom nipper plates and the swing arms are all made of light aluminum alloy material, with weight of nipper about 2.9 kg. Firm gripping between the nipper plates and the cotton lap is made more reliable and consistent by supplying pressure at 2 pressure points. It uses outer ratchet feed roller with simple structure and light weight to decrease the inertia, so that the nipper can nip the fiber stably and effectively in high speed running.? ? Meanwhile, the lap feed roller and the top comb are designed to sit at a more forward position, this shortens the floating distance of fibers, favoring control of short fibers. This decreases the amount of long good fiber in the noil, and hence waste percentage. The driving kinematics of the detaching roller is comprised of a combination of plane linkage mechanism, external differential gearing train, and fixed axle gear train. The lengths of the connecting rods are optimized and tooth ratio of the rear planet gear changed to reduce the ‘ net advance’ greatly. Hence, the piecing length of cotton tuft can be increased, which leads to high success rate of piecing, and improves the combing efficiency. The pneumatically weighted rollers then ensure the final cohesive binding of the successive tuft piecings. The bow shape position plate ( for cylinder position) , has two position setting angles ( 36, 37 degree) . The two specification of cylinders ( 90, 110 degree) , can be selected to reach the optimum combing effectiveness. The drafting system is of 3-over-5 type, featuring non-linear fiber drafting path in both front and back drafting zones. The back drafting zone with 1-over-2 roller arrangement, increases the cohesion force between the drafting sliver and the drafting roller. It also enhances the frictional field, and optimized the pressure distribution in the mid and back zones. This leads to better control of floating fibers, better straightening the fiber hooks, and hence better yarn quality. The front and back draft are adjustable to meet the demands of different end uses. The new driving system to the drafting rollers is housed on cast frame with simple structure. It is convenient for changing gears, with stable driving, and low noise level, with fine meshing of gears. There are three drafting time( 1.14, 1.36, 1.50) for user’ s choice.? The mahcine adopts single coiler for sliver deposition in single can. The coiling guide has been improved to give trouble free coiling without choking at the trumpet. The automatic can changer stops the machine when the sliver can is full, and then pushes the full can out and feed the empty one. Central integral suction is stalled to remove noil and dust from the combers, replacing the individual suction, thus lessening the environmental pollution in the combing room. If the customer would like to use the individual suction fan, we also could meet that requirements.? ? When doing maintenance for the machine, the intergral top comb can be hung on the latch along the edged of the table at the front of the machine. It serves to protect the top comb, provide easier operation, avoid top comb from falling, and make the machine look better.
