Preventing machine damage
Rapid supplies an optional metal detector. The detector is mounted on the side of a conveyor or similar transport system that feeds plastic waste into a granulator. If metal is detected on the conveyor, then the granulator is automatically stopped to prevent component damage and a warning light or sound is switched on.
